I really enjoyed this.
What a lovely soprano! Not only does she have a stunning voice, but she looks as though she's thoroughly enjoying herself.
What an absolutely beautiful hymn.
The God that we all love.
Stanford at his best, superbly interpreted by an outstanding choir under an inspired conductor. The organ accompaniment was immaculate too.
It's called "vibrato."
Like if the Simpsons brought you here
Choral singer myself. This is a master class!
I think this is one of the worst congregational hymn tunes ever written. Very difficult for an average congregation to get it without a choir to lead. It would be good to know if there is an alternative to this dross by Stanford.
Enjoyed this very much as I was contemplating a performance of this amazing piece at St Clement's, Toronto. A very well-drilled choir under the direction of my old schoolfriend!
What a horrible orchestra, violins sawing wood, unsynchronized playing, instruments out of tune, brass half a tone lower than the orchestra. A nightmare!
So many typical CPE Bach mannerisms in this piece. Syncopated rhythms, abrupt changes in direction, unique and complicated harmonies for the time period. The soloists are outstanding in this version. I have an old CD from 1988 and despite a few hiccups from the college instrumentalists, I think. i prefer this version.
I am a late-comer discovering this spectacular performance. Absolutely top in every respect.
Corelli and Bach the best of baroque
What a fabulous virtual visit "down memory lane" for the 2023-2024 academic year! It was beautifully crafted -- deeply moving from beginning to end! (Of course, "God Has Gone Up With A Shout" was the PERFECT soundtrack!❤🙏❣
For me the outstanding voice here is Sherezade Panthaki, I was most impressed and want to hear her more.
It's so beautiful....every note eternal
This is one of the worst sermons I’ve ever heard
A favorite. Show words.
Amen Rev Calvon
I like this song so much.
In the University of Colorado Modern Choir directed by Warner Imig, we sang the Randall Thompson Frostiana. It was the most delightful "Seven Country Songs" and a group of my very songs. Especially A Girl's Garden. The year was 1962 if I remember correctly.

Fabulous!! Thank you SO much!!!🎉❤
We are going to sing this at the Green Lake Choral Festival Aug. 7-10, 2024 at Ripon, Wisconsin at Demmer Recital Hall, Ripon College.
I was especially moved by the choral music during this worship service which featured compositions of female composers. As usual, the choir was particularly noteworthy, and the director Edward Jones is to be commended for including a work written by my beloved theory and composition teacher, Undine Smith Moore.
That lovely soprano is now singing at the Metropolitan Opera. She was in this season's production of Il Ballo in Maschera.
Wow. So well done
PRAISE THE LORD !!! 💌💌💌💌💌💌💌
Be blessed and encouraged brother in the Name of Jesus Christ!

Wonderful service, thoughtful and profound. Glorious music. Thank you.
Just starting this, hoping that he talks about Tuberculosis. Update: he mentioned it at least once, but this amazing speech was better than 100 tuberculosis references.
❤❤❤
Outstanding performance by Southern University! Thank you Harvard University for streaming this fabulous production!
The Harvard media team was wonderful in producing and directing this production. I already knew the choir would be excellent.
Yeah you right!
Beautiful service. Truly anointing! ❤
Southern University Choir was absolutely wonderful
Very beautiful performance by this amazing choir! Brought me back to the 'home' setting, the amazing work of our God, our Creator! All the soloists have performed brilliantly under the watch of the gifted Conductor! I sang in the choir about 40 years ago when the Nairobi Music Society presented this great work by Haydn! May our Lord's name be praised and glorified!❤
This is the face of DEI.
She is fraud
Our choir sang this today as we buried the "A" word in preparation for Lent, and in the expectation of Easter. It was my first introduction to this piece. It brought tears to my eyes!
